Invitation and consent
Know what will happen before you share.
The pathway must explain what it is and is not, what information is collected, who may read it, how it may be used, and what safety or legal limits apply. A person may stop before sharing.
Tell, clarify, review
Your meaning remains yours.
A person tells the story in their own words. Compassionate questions may clarify facts, feelings, interpretations, needs, and uncertainties without diagnosing or leading. The person reviews and corrects any summary before it is shared.
Human understanding
A servant listens before responding.
A designated, accountable human reviews the person’s own words and offers one clear next step, resource, conversation, or referral. The response is documented with appropriate privacy and retention.
AI’s permitted role
Organization and accessibility—not spiritual authority.
AI may organize a person’s own words, identify stated questions, separate facts from interpretations, prepare an editable draft summary, improve readability, and help administrators route requests safely.
- Every AI-assisted summary is labeled.
- Uncertainty remains visible.
- The person can correct or reject the summary.
- Human review comes before ministry action.
- AI never judges faith, diagnoses, claims revelation, or conducts autonomous crisis intervention.
Protective first release
No unrestricted AI conversation.
The first release uses a structured preparation and consent pathway. Sensitive submission and email delivery remain closed until designated reviewers, retention rules, safeguarding procedures, and secure administrative delivery are operationally confirmed.
A listening posture rooted in questions
Jesus makes room for a person to answer.
“Seek first to understand” is ministry-authored operational language, not a quotation from Jesus. These verified questions establish the listening posture beneath it.
