Collect less. Explain why. Protect what is shared.

The public journey does not require authentication, a social profile, follower count, streak, public status, or unrestricted chat. Optional local preparation tools identify clearly when information remains on the visitor’s device.

The Connection Hub builds resource matches, checklists, and call scripts in the browser without requesting a name, password, case number, or personal story. Its optional Voice Assist activates only after the visitor turns it on. The Way does not receive or store microphone audio or the recognized phrase; some browsers may send speech to their own provider when a visitor explicitly allows online recognition. The device and browser provider control that processing.

The School & Family Pathfinder and Access Request Builder run entirely in the browser. The optional Follow-up Board stays in memory unless the visitor expressly chooses to save it on that device. A visitor can copy or download the board, create a local calendar-reminder file, disable saving, or clear the saved board. The Way does not receive those entries. The tool instructs visitors not to enter passwords, Social Security numbers, medical details, or full case numbers.

The Garden Designer keeps selected aerial-map areas, optional uploaded property images, and saved project data on the visitor’s device. When a visitor intentionally searches an address, the browser sends that typed address directly to Palm Beach County’s public GIS address locator. The County’s public GIS image service then supplies the 2026 aerial view. The Way does not receive the typed address or the map request. The Connection Hub and installable app may cache public pages and the reviewed resource directory for offline access. A visitor can remove saved garden data and cached content through the tool or browser and device app-storage settings.

The Street Navigator loads map images from OpenStreetMap when the map is viewed. OpenStreetMap may receive ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser information, referrer, requested tile, and timestamp under its own privacy terms. The Way does not send a typed search, private trusted-place label, mission progress, or garden-quest selection to OpenStreetMap. Private trusted-place pins, street-mission progress, and garden-quest progress are stored only in that browser when storage is available and can be removed through the tool or browser storage settings.

The Street Navigator does not collect camera footage, receive crime reports, publish citizen accusations, monitor emergency activity, or dispatch responders. Links to CrimeMapping, PBSO, Crime Stoppers, Google directions, and other external services open only after the visitor chooses them; the selected provider then controls its own processing. The Way does not describe third-party incident information as live dispatch data and does not identify alleged private offenders.

The hosting provider and content-delivery infrastructure may process ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent, and security logs. The Way does not presently add advertising trackers or behavioral analytics.

When someone sends a homeowner or general inquiry, Netlify processes and stores the submitted name, email address, optional phone number, inquiry type, location or organization details, and message. Verified submissions are available to authorized site administrators and may trigger an email alert to the accountable site owner.

The private Board Room requires a signed-in account whose email matches the active board roster. It stores directors’ names, board titles, email addresses, assigned document pages, decisions, comments, typed electronic signatures, consent and attestation text, timestamps, exact document-version hashes, and the board PDFs needed for the governance record. Board PDFs and signature records are kept in access-controlled database and document storage; they are not placed in the public site files, sitemap, or search index.

A person may use the public contact form to request correction or deletion of an ordinary inquiry. The Way will review the request subject to legitimate legal, safety, fraud-prevention, and operational responsibilities, and Netlify administrators can manage stored submissions.

A director may ask the president to correct board-roster information. Executed consents, document versions, and audit events may need to be retained as corporate records and will not be altered merely to rewrite the history of an action; a correction or later board action can be attached to the record instead.
